A Little Lush Haul

From top to bottom

Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment - £3.95 A luxury bath melt that smells soo good! It smells of bubblegum/marshmallow/pink fluffy goodness and claims to soften your skin while you bathe, amazing. buy here

Wonder Woohoo - £3.95 This one is a bubble bar and to be honest im not overly impressed by the amount of bubbles that they create but to be honest that doesn't really bother me. This is supposed to be inspired by wonder woman, i don't know much about wonder woman but i just liked the look of it. I'll be putting this in my bath before a night out so all of the gold glitter can make me sparkle. buy here

Fluffy Egg - £2.95 The bath bomb is my most favourite of lush products, they smell amazing and turn your bath different colours. This one smells amazing it's very similar to candy mountain which i absolutely love as christmas. I think this would make a nice easter treat for someone who is trying to ditch the chocolate. buy here

Mumkin - £2.95 Finally another bubble bar, it smells of raspberries, it's quite springy so i thought id buy it and get into the spring feeling. I just thought it was too cute not to buy, it looks the same as the pumpkin bubble bar at halloween hence the name. I love the colour of it aswell i think it will have a really good colour pay off in the water. buy here

The Everyday Handbag - Spring Edit

Accessorize Lilac Bag - £32 buy here

I bought this bag last week after browsing online and having it catch my eye. I went into store to have a look at it and see how big it was (i like my bags big) and i thought it was perfect. I think £32 for a large handbag is a good price and it's perfect to take you into spring/summer!

Vamp it up - Winter lips

1 - Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Matte in 107
2 - Revlon Super Lustrous in Black Cherry
3 - Revlon Matte lipstick in Really Red
4 - 17 Lasting Fix in New Black

My top four drugstore lipstick picks for the winter, of all four my favourite is the Revlon black cherry, perfect super dark red not too pinky/purpley which i think dark lipsticks tend to be (including the kate moss 107). Black cherry wears really well, you can't feel it on your lips really and it doesn't come off onto your glass when your drinking. Bonus. However, i love them all dearly.

Lush 'Melting Snowman; Bath Melt

Lush 'Melting Snowman' Bath Melt - £2.25

Recently i have been loving Lush, i went through a phase last year of using the Lush scrubs and skincare products but i never really got into the bath products.
Over the last few weeks however i have been trying out the bubble bars, i used (but didn't blog about) candy mountain bubble bar and the pumpkin bubble bar, and i loved them. They didn't create too many bubbles in my bath to be honest but the colour and smell was enough to keep me repurchasing. So when browsing the Lush store last week i decided i would try a bath melt for a change. I went for the melting snowman because of the festive factor mostly but also because it smells amazing, i can't explain the smell very well to be honest it's not a christmassy smell in my opinion but it's just fresh and spicy. The bath melt's are supposed to fill your bath with moisturising oils to leave you soft and smelling amazing. I haven't used this yet i'm saving it to soften me up before a night out, but it claims to have cocoa butter and shea butter, amazing!

"Exquisitely fragranced with Hot Toddy, a favourite blend from Christmas past containing cinnamon, clove, patchouli, benzoin, lime and sweet wild orange oils. But if it isn’t enough to smell of one of our most popular Christmas fragrance - he’s also got a body made of water softening bicarb of soda, cocoa butter and shea butter. All these wonderful butters melt into your bath water, leaving you soft and moisturised. His legacy is your great skin, which means he lives on in the memory of all who knew him."

Quick everyday makeup post, just what i threw on my face before work this morning, it's been so hard to choose what make-up to put on because of the hot weather i feel like it just starts to slide down my face as soon as i get to work because the air-con just doesn't work and is stuck on 26 degrees :|
I never ever wear liquid eyeliner, this is literally so old i don't even know if it's stocked in superdrug anymore but iv'e switched to this instead of my loreal gel intenza gel eyeliner the past few weeks because of the heat, the gel starts to smudge and look messy but the liquid liner does not budge!
And quick fact, the necklace im wearing was once pink, i painted it with an essie nail varnish in fear and desire. DIY

#NOTD Barry M Blueberry

 Barry M - Blueberry 306 - £2.99

So, iv'e decided to attempt to blog again, im attempting to post at least once a week but hopefully more, but we'll see. :| i know im a terrible blogger i'm just so lazy.
Anyway, i got this colour in april and yet iv'e never used it since tonight and actually i really like it, i didn't think i would as blue isn't really a colour i would go for.
This is just one coat, after taking the photos i applied another coat which wasn't necessarily needed but i just prefer two coats, i like to know my nail is fully polished!

pigmentation - 9/10 - one coat is fine if your in a rush
drying time - 9/10 - a few minutes and its done which is good considering the thickness
application - 8/10 - standard brush, easy to apply.

overall - 9/10

Something to get festive about - ORLY Halloween 2013

Maybe not too exciting but nevertheless... this is the Halloween 2013 collection from Orly and to be honest, it's not fantastic but the fact that Halloween is coming so close and so fast i couldn't help but get a bit excited by it.
So basically there are only four shades in the collection which are all pretty much the same apart from the glitter black.
You may not be able to tell but the two oranges are in fact different shades:

Top left - Orange Punch
Top right - Liquid Vinyl
Bottom left - Goth
Bottom right - Melt your Popsicle

I can't wait for autumn now, get the be thankful Yankee candles out and start wearing shirt jumper combos and chunky scarves. And the sun's only just made it's appearance in the UK... OH WELL.

Anyway, the collection is out mid August in the US and September sometime in the UK.
