My top four drugstore lipstick picks for the winter, of all four my favourite is the Revlon black cherry, perfect super dark red not too pinky/purpley which i think dark lipsticks tend to be (including the kate moss 107). Black cherry wears really well, you can't feel it on your lips really and it doesn't come off onto your glass when your drinking. Bonus. However, i love them all dearly.

Quick everyday makeup post, just what i threw on my face before work this morning, it's been so hard to choose what make-up to put on because of the hot weather i feel like it just starts to slide down my face as soon as i get to work because the air-con just doesn't work and is stuck on 26 degrees :|

I never ever wear liquid eyeliner, this is literally so old i don't even know if it's stocked in superdrug anymore but iv'e switched to this instead of my loreal gel intenza gel eyeliner the past few weeks because of the heat, the gel starts to smudge and look messy but the liquid liner does not budge!

And quick fact, the necklace im wearing was once pink, i painted it with an essie nail varnish in fear and desire. DIY

Revlon Really Red

 

Revlon Really Red - Boots £7.49

Hey Guysss, so i recently picked this lipstick up from Boots whilst browsing for a perfect red lipstick due to failing at choosing a 'really' red lipstick when previously purchasing a lipstick of the red variety. (blaaa)  In other words, i have never really found the perfect true red. One of the failed red colours i purchased before and hated is the Kate moss first collection lipstick in number 12, this was too orangey and bright for my skin i felt. Soo, after trying this Revlon Matte lipstick out for an 8 hour shift at work what i found was the following...

Pigmentation: 10/10 - One swipe application.

Wearing time: 10/10 - It literally lasted me all day, i didn't NEED to touch up.

Feel: This lipstick is a matte lipstick so obviously has no moisture whatsoever, however, i found that it didn't dry out my lips, instead just felt as though i wasn't wearing anything.

Overall: Perfect red lipstick, it's not too bright, not too dark, long lasting, inexpensive and highly pigmented. I will 100% be trying out more of this matte collection. 

I will post a full face (:|) photo of me wearing this lipstick at some point but today i was slightly hungover and therefore unable to do so, but this little cut out mouth does the colour no justice (against my yellow skin :\ hmm.) 

 

     

Purple lipstick

Boot's 17 lipstick in 'new black' i like it more than the kate moss rimmel purple because it's smooth on the lips, the rimmel one goes all kinds of shades unless you pile it on and it can look a bit patchy. 'New Black' is smooth, unscented and it stays on your lips for about 2 hours before you need to touch it up. The only bad thing about it is that it stains your lips bright pink! A bit of make up remover get's it off straight away though.
